I am also seeking representation for a novel and a collection of poetry:
4. ‘The Ramayana of Croydon’ (novel; 120,000 words; literary fiction).
‘The Ramayana of Croydon’ is a psychogeographical novel set in Croydon in 2006. Two young men wander through the streets and pubs of Croydon meeting people and seeking happiness in their own ways. The bliss of Hindu mysticism is contrasted with the happiness brought about by narcotics and alcohol. Friendship, romance and the effect of the urban environment are themes in a tale which offers practical steps for personal development and joy. ‘The Ramayana of Croydon’ reveals the cause of happiness and the cure for unhappiness.
5. ‘Littlehampton and Other Poems’ (60 poems; 18,000 words)
Selection of poems on various themes, including: life (‘Flying Fish’); love (‘The South Coast Quartet’); friendship (‘Wine Oranges Chocolates’); time (‘A Night at the Opera’); and death (‘Funeral at the Cathedral’). Includes ‘Valerie’ (see below).
Published Poetry:
‘Valerie’
